Abstract

The number of foreign tourists (tourists) to Kepulauan Riau Province during August 2022 was recorded at 79,470 visits, a decrease of 0.93 percent compared to the previous month. Meanwhile, when compared to August 2021, there was an increase of 48,063.64 percent.
Foreign tourists visiting Kepulauan Riau Province in January-August 2022 are dominated by foreign tourists who are Singaporeans reaching 52.30 percent of the total number of foreign tourists during January to August 2022.
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in Kepulauan Riau Province in August 2022 was an average of 40.92 percent or decreased by 0.43 points compared to the TPK in July 2022 which was recorded at 41.35 percent.
The average length of stay of foreign guests and Indonesian guests at five-star hotels in Kepulauan Riau Province in August 2022 was recorded at 1.60 days or decreased by 0.06 points compared to July 2022.
