Abstract

The export value of Kepulauan Riau Province in January 2023 reached US$1,671.22 million, up 7.81 percent compared to December 2022.
Oil and gas exports in January 2023 amounted to US $ 448.88 million, up 54.76 percent compared to December 2022. Non-oil and gas exports in January 2023 reached US$1,222.34 million, down 2.99 percent compared to December 2022.
The largest HS 2-digit non-oil and gas export during January 2023 was the machinery / electrical equipment goods group (HS 85) reaching US $ 704.04 million with a role in non-oil and gas exports of 57.60 percent.
During January 2023, Singapore became the largest export destination country to reach US$653.90 million with a role of 39.13 percent.
During January 2023, Singapore became the largest destination country for non-oil and gas exports to reach US$429.39 million with a role of around 35.13 percent. In addition, it is also the largest destination country for oil and gas exports which reached US $ 224.51 million with a role of 50.02 percent.
The largest export value of Kepulauan Riau Province in January 2023 was through Batu Ampar Port US$828.87 million; followed by Tanjung Balai Karimun Port US$ 342.35 million; Sekupang Port US$194.42 million; Tarempa Port US$95.31 million; and Kabil / Panau Port US$94.73 million. The role of the five ports in January 2023 exports reached 93.09 percent.
The largest export volume of Kepulauan Riau Province in January 2023 was through Tanjung Balai Karimun Port 998.59 thousand tons; followed by Tarempa Port 205.75 thousand tons; Belakang Padang Port 163.42 thousand tons; Batu Ampar Port 100.13 thousand tons; and Kabil/Panau Port 77.64 thousand tons. The role of the five ports in the January 2023 export volume reached 98.91 percent.
