Abstract

Farmers Terms of Trade (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is one indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchange power (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs.
In February 2023, Kepulauan Riau Province's NTP was recorded at 104.26 or decreased by 0.10 percent compared to January 2023's NTP.
NTP of the Food Crops subsector was recorded at 98.50; NTP subsector
Horticulture at 109.63; NTP of the People's Plantation Plantation sub-sector of 94.83; NTP of the Livestock subsector of 100.77; and the Fisheries sub-sector NTP of 110.66.
The Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) for Kepulauan Riau Province in February 2023 was recorded at 102.32 or decreased by 0.06 percent compared to January 2023.
NTUP of the Food Crops subsector was recorded at 94.76; NTUP Horticulture subsector of 106.28; NTUP of the People's Plantation Plantation sub-sector of 91.69; NTUP of the Livestock subsector of 101.42; and NTUP in the Fisheries subsector of 110.66.
