Abstract

The export value of Riau Islands Province in February 2023 reached US$1,820.82 million, up 8.95 percent compared to January 2023.

Oil and gas exports in February 2023 amounted to US $ 272.76 million or decrease 39.24 percent compared to January 2023. Non-oil and gas exports in February 2023 reached US$1,548.06 million, up 26.65 percent compared to January 2023.

The largest HS 2-digit non-oil and gas export during February 2023 was the electrical machinery/equipment goods group (HS 85) reaching US$865.96 million with a role in non-oil and gas exports of 56.67 percent.

During January-February 2023, Singapore became the largest export destination country to reach US$1,327.42 million with a role of 38.01 percent.

During January-February 2023, Singapore became the largest destination country for non-oil and gas exports to reach US $ 900.83 million with a role of around 32.52 percent. In addition, it is also the largest destination country for oil and gas exports which reached US$426.60 million with a role of 59.11 percent.

The largest export value of Riau Islands Province in January-February 2023 was through Batu Ampar Port US$1,856.94 million; followed by Tanjung Balai Karimun Port US$462.76 million; Sekupang Port US$410.07 million; Kabil / Panau Port US$284.53 million; and Tarempa Port US$182.73 million. The role of the five ports in exports in January-February 2023 reached 91.55 percent.

The largest export volume of Riau Islands Province in January-February 2023 was through Kabil/Panau Port 2,030.06 thousand tons; followed by Tanjung Balai Karimun Port 1,733.87 thousand tons; Batu Ampar Port 396.89 thousand tons; Tarempa Port 391.58 thousand tons; and Belakang Padang Port 307.84 thousand tons. The role of the five ports in the January-February 2023 export volume reached 98.97 percent.
