Abstract

The number of foreign tourists to Kepulauan Riau Province during February 2023 was recorded at 93,085 visits or decreased by 22.85 percent compared to the previous month. Meanwhile, when compared to February 2022, there was an increase of 25,472.80 percent.

Foreign tourists visiting Kepulauan Riau Province in January-February 2023 were dominated by Singapore nationals, reaching 53.56 percent of the total number of foreign tourists in January-February 2023.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star-rated hotels in Kepulauan Riau Province in February 2023 averaged 43.69 percent or decreased by 3.89 points compared to the January 2023 TPK which was recorded at 47.58 percent.

The average length of stay of foreign guests and Indonesian guests at star hotels in Kepulauan Riau Province in February 2023 was recorded at 2.26 days, an increase of 0.14 points compared to January 2023.
