Abstract

The number of foreign tourists to Riau Islands Province during March 2023 was recorded at 126,527 visits or an increase of 35.93 percent compared to the previous month. Meanwhile, when compared to March 2022, there was an increase of 9,182.98 percent.

Foreign tourists visiting Riau Islands Province in January-March 2023 were dominated by Singaporean tourists, reaching 55.32 percent of the total number of foreign tourists from January-March 2023.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star-rated hotels in Riau Islands Province in March 2023 averaged 44.46 percent, an increase of 0.77 points compared to the February 2023 TPK which was recorded at 43.69 percent.

The average length of stay of foreign guests and Indonesian guests at star-rated hotels in Riau Islands Province in March 2023 was recorded at 2.12 days, down 0.14 points compared to February 2023.
