Abstract

The export value of Kepulauan Riau Province in May 2023 reached US$1,585.14 million, up 4.11 percent compared to April 2023.

Oil and gas exports in May 2023 amounted to US$290.89 million or decreased 28.61 percent compared to April 2023. Non-oil and gas exports in May 2023 reached US$1,294.25 million, up 16.06 percent compared to April 2023.

The largest HS 2-digit non-oil and gas export during January-May 2023 was the machinery/electrical equipment goods group (HS 85) reaching US$3,470.25 million with a role in non-oil and gas exports of 53.58 percent.

During January-May 2023, Singapore became the largest export destination country to reach US$2,958.80 million with a role of 36.05 percent.

During January-May 2023, Singapore became the largest destination country for non-oil and gas exports to reach US$1,928.84 million with a role of around 29.78 percent. In addition, it is also the largest destination country for oil and gas exports which reached US $ 1,029.96 million with a role of 59.50 percent.

The largest export value of Kepulauan Riau Province January-May 2023 was through Batu Ampar Port US$4,335.77 million; followed by Tanjung Balai Karimun Port US$1,095.31 million; Sekupang Port US$1,066.50 million; Kabil / Panau Port US$501.51 million; and Tarempa Port US$495.84 million. The role of the five ports in January-May 2023 exports reached 91.32 percent.

The largest export volume of Kepulauan Riau Province in January-May 2023 was through Tanjung Balai Karimun Port 4,339.27 thousand tons; followed by Kabil/Panau Port 2,225.47 thousand tons; Tarempa Port 1,015.48 thousand tons; Batu Ampar Port 753.86 thousand tons; and Belakang Padang Port 647.82 thousand tons. The role of the five ports in the January-May 2023 export volume reached 89.78 percent.
