Abstract

The Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is the ratio of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).

NTP is one indicator to see farmers' level of purchasing power in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchange rate (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed or for production costs.

In June 2023, Kepulauan Riau Province NTP was recorded at 105.66 or an increase of 1.11 percent compared to the NTP in May 2023.

The NTP of the Food Crops subsector was recorded at 98.75; the NTP of the Horticulture subsector was 105.76; the NTP of the Smallholder Plantation Crops subsector was 102.84; the NTP of the Livestock subsector was 101.66; and the NTP of the Fisheries subsector was 110.64.

The Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of Kepulauan Riau Province in June 2023 was recorded at 103.37 or an increase of 1.34 percent compared to May 2023.

NTUP of Food Crops subsector was recorded at 94.98; NTUP of Horticulture subsector at 103.02; NTUP of Smallholder Plantation Crops subsector at 98.32; NTUP of Livestock subsector at 101.76; and NTUP of Fisheries subsector at 110.43.
