Abstract

The export value of Kepulauan Riau Province in June 2023 reached US$1,464.66 million, down 7.60 percent compared to May 2023.

Oil and gas exports in June 2023 amounted to US$312.68 million, up 7.49 percent compared to May 2023. Non-oil and gas exports in June 2023 reached US$1,151.98 million, down 10.99 percent compared to May 2023.

The largest HS 2-digit non-oil and gas export during January-June 2023 was the electrical machinery/equipment goods group (HS 85) reaching US$4,082.43 million with a role in non-oil and gas exports of 53.52 percent.

During January-June 2023, Singapore became the largest export destination country to reach US$3,517.29 million with a role of 36.37 percent.

During January-June 2023, Singapore became the largest destination country for non-oil and gas exports to reach US$2,304.46 million with a role of around 30.21 percent. In addition, it is also the largest destination country for oil and gas exports which reached US $ 1,212.82 million with a role of 59.35 percent.

The largest export value of Kepulauan Riau Province January-June 2023 was through Batu Ampar Port US$5,124.10 million; followed by Sekupang Port US$1,266.65 million; Tanjung Balai Karimun Port US$1,209.85 million; Kabil / Panau Port US$626.42 million; and Tarempa Port US$618.31 million. The role of the five ports in January-June 2023 exports reached 91.45 percent.

The largest export volume of Kepulauan Riau Province January-June 2023 was through Tanjung Balai Karimun Port 5,079.97 thousand tons; followed by Kabil/Panau Port 2,443.69 thousand tons; Tarempa Port 1,214.58 thousand tons; Batu Ampar Port 866.56 thousand tons; and Belakang Padang Port 795.08 thousand tons. The role of the five ports in the January-June 2023 export volume reached 89.23 percent.
