Abstract

The export value of Kepulauan Riau Province in September 2023 reached US$1,526.19 million, down 5.69 percent compared to August 2023.

Oil and gas exports in September 2023 amounted to US$377.29 million or decreased by 4.29 percent compared to August 2023. Non-oil and gas exports in September 2023 reached US$1,148.90 million, down 6.14 percent compared to August 2023.

The largest HS 2-digit non-oil and gas export during January-September 2023 was the electrical machinery/equipment goods group (HS 85) reaching US$5,937.34 million with a role in non-oil and gas exports of 52.69 percent.

During January-September 2023, Singapore became the largest export destination country to reach US$5,260.30 million with a role of 36.46 percent.

During January-September 2023, Singapore became the largest destination country for non-oil and gas exports to reach US$3,443.74 million with a role of around 30.56 percent. In addition, it is also the largest destination country for oil and gas exports which reached US $ 1,816.56 million with a role of 57.51 percent.

The largest export volume of Kepulauan Riau Province January-September 2023 was through Tanjung Balai Karimun Port 8,060.03 thousand tons; followed by Kabil/Panau Port 2,810.09 thousand tons; Tarempa Port 1,825.15 thousand tons; Batu Ampar Port 1,309.72 thousand tons; and Belakang Padang Port 1,136.69 thousand tons. The role of the five ports in the January-September 2023 export volume reached 88.81 percent.
