Abstract

A. Export Development

The export value of Kepulauan Riau Province in November 2023 reached US$1,321.67 million, an increase of 1.34 percent compared to October 2023.

Oil and gas exports in November 2023 amounted to US $ 215.53 million or decreased 35.58 percent compared to October 2023. Non-oil and gas exports in November 2023 reached US$1,106.14 million, up 14.08 percent compared to October 2023.

The largest HS 2-digit non-oil and gas export during January-November 2023 was the electrical machinery/equipment goods group (HS 85) which reached US$6,969.03 million with a role in non-oil and gas exports of 52.23 percent.

B. Import Development

The import value of Kepulauan Riau Province in November 2023 reached US$1,320.31 million or decreased by 5.15 percent compared to October 2023.

The value of oil and gas imports in November 2023 reached US$240.64 million or increased by 6.28 percent compared to October 2023. Meanwhile, the value of non-oil and gas imports in November 2023 amounted to US$1,079.67 million, down 7.37 percent compared to October 2023.

During January-November 2023, the largest non-oil and gas imports were machinery/electrical equipment (HS 85) with a value of US$5,746.01 million or 42.37 percent of total non-oil and gas imports.
