Abstract

The number of domestic air transportation passengers departing from Kepulauan Riau Province in December 2023 was 176,719 people, an increase of 17.30 percent compared to November 2023. A total of 1,763 international air transportation passengers departed from Kepulauan Riau Province in December 2023.

The number of domestic sea transportation passengers who departed in December 2023 was recorded at 425,239 people, an increase of 31.93 percent compared to November 2023 which reached 322,320 people. Meanwhile, the number of international sea transportation passengers departing in December 2023 was 313,323 people, up 42.68 percent compared to November 2023.

In December 2023, the number of domestic air freight baggage and goods loadings rose 48.97 percent from 1,556.87 tons in November 2023 to 2,319.32 tons in December 2023. In December 2023, 14.23 tons of baggage and freight were loaded via international air transport.
