Abstract

The number of domestic air transportation passengers departing from Riau Islands Province in January 2024 was 155,364 people, down 12.08 percent compared to December 2023. A total of 1,747 international air transportation passengers departed from Riau Islands Province in January 2024.

The number of domestic sea transportation passengers who departed in January 2024 was recorded at 314,524 people, down 26.04 percent compared to December 2023 which reached 425,239 people. Meanwhile, the number of international sea transportation passengers departing in January 2024 was 216,105 people, down 31.03 percent compared to December 2023.

In January 2024, the number of domestic air transport baggage and goods loadings decreased by 4.25 percent from 2,319.32 tons in December 2023 to 2,220.73 tons in January 2024. In January 2024, 13.80 tons were loaded via international air freight.
