Abstract

The number of domestic air transportation passengers departing from Riau Islands Province in March 2024 was 151,298 people, down 1.22 percent compared to February 2024. A total of 2,439 international air transportation passengers departed from Riau Islands Province in March 2024.

The number of domestic sea transportation passengers who departed in March 2024 was recorded at 326,563 people, down 3.59 percent compared to February 2024 which reached 338,711 people. Meanwhile, the number of international sea transportation passengers departing in March 2024 was 230,963 people, down 5.13 percent compared to February 2024.

In March 2024, the number of domestic air transport baggage and goods loadings decreased by 30.85 percent from 2,099.09 tons in February 2024 to 1,451.47 tons in March 2024. In March 2024, 10.26 tons of baggage and freight were loaded via international air transport.
