Abstract

Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is the ratio of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).

NTP is one of the indicators to see the level of purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchange rate (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed or for production costs.

In June 2024, Kepulauan Riau Province NTP was recorded at 105.55 or decrease of 0.50 percent compared to the NTP in May 2024.

The NTP of the Food Crops subsector was recorded at 96.98; the NTP of the Horticulture subsector at 110.30; the NTP of the Smallholder Plantation Crops subsector at 106.36; the NTP of the Livestock subsector at 101.60; and the NTP of the Fisheries subsector at 104.05.

The Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of Kepulauan Riau Province in June 2024 was recorded at 105.94 or an decrease of 0.42 percent compared to May 2024.

NTUP of Food Crops subsector was recorded at 95.43; NTUP of Horticulture subsector at 110.66; NTUP of Smallholder Plantation Crops subsector at 104.93; NTUP of Livestock subsector at 104.68; and NTUP of Fisheries subsector at 105.66.
