Tanjungpinang, Wednesday, July 1st, 2020. Statistics of Kepulauan Riau Province carried out the Official Statistics News Release (BRS) which aired on Youtube of Statistics of Kepulauan Riau Province.

In June 2020, Kepulauan Riau Province's CPI (Batam City and Tanjungpinang City) showed inflation of 0.05 percent. Inflation occurred due to an increase in the Consumer Price Index from 103.26 in May 2020 to 103.31 this month.

Of the 2 CPI cities in Kepulauan Riau Province, Batam City experienced inflation of 0.06 percent, and Tanjungpinang City experienced inflation of 0.01 percent.

The number of foreign tourist arrivals or tourists to Kepulauan Riau Province in May 2020 recorded as many as 1,798 visits, or an increase of 57.86 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists visiting the previous month.

Meanwhile, when compared to May 2019, the number of foreign tourists visiting May 2019 decreased by 99.20 percent.
