Exports increased 2,18 percent and imports decreased 16,43 percent in June 2021

The export value of the Kepulauan Riau Province in June 2021 reached US$1,317.62 million, an increase of 2.18 percent compared to May 2021.
The import value of the Kepulauan Riau Province in June 2021 reached US $ 1,036.53 million, down 16.43 percent compared to May 2021.
In March 2021, the number of poor people (people with monthly per capita expenditure below the Poverty Line) in the Kepulauan Riau Province reached 144,462 people (6.12 percent), an increase of 1,850 people compared to September 2020's condition of 142,611 people (6 ,13 percent). The percentage of poor people in Kepulauan Riau in March 2021 reached 6.12 percent.
In March 2021, the level of inequality in the expenditure of the Kepulauan Riau population as measured by the Gini Ratio was 0.343. This figure increased by 0.009 points compared to the September 2020 Gini Ratio of 0.334.
