Abstract

The number of domestic air transport passengers in October 2019 departing from Kepulauan Riau Province was 182.158 people or an increase of 6.19 percent from September 2019. In October 2019 there was a decrease in the number of international air transport passengers departing, which totaled 1,249 people or decreased by 26.53 percent from the previous month.

In October 2019, the total load of baggage and domestic air transport goods decreased by 5.04 percent from 3,747.03 tons in September 2019 to 3,558.29 tons in October 2019. Meanwhile, for international air transportation, during October 2019 baggage and goods loaded reached 7.36 tons, down 41.79 percent when compared to the previous month.

During October 2019 there were 370,922 people embarking domestically from ports in the Kepulauan Riau Province. The number of domestic passenger embarkations increased by 7.15 percent compared to September 2019 which reached 346,175 people. Meanwhile, the number of international sea transport passengers that rose (embarkation) in October 2019 reached 366,419 people, down 2.26 percent compared to September 2019.

The amount of loading of international sea freight in October 2019 increased from the previous month by 10.82 percent, from 1,659,074.79 tons to 1,838,514.60 tons.
