Kepulauan Riau's Farmers Term of Trade in January 2020

Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) against the price index paid by farmers (Ib). NTP is one indicator to see the level of ability / purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchange power (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs. In January 2020, Kepulauan Riau Province NTP was recorded at 101.38 or decreased by 0.03 percent compared to the NTP in December 2019. The NTP of the Food Crop subsector was recorded at 102.96; Horticulture subsector NTP of 108.65; NTP of the People's Plantation Plant subsector of 93.53; Livestock subsector NTP of 97.80 and Fishery subsector NTP of 103.57. The Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of Kepulauan Riau Province in January 2020 was 102.38, an increase of 0.24 percent compared to the previous month. The NTUP in the Food Crop subsector was recorded at 103.41; Horticulture subsector NTUP 110,31; NTUP of the People's Plantation Plant sub-sector by 94.58; NTUP Livestock subsector of 98.46; and NTUP Fisheries sub-sector by 104.27.
