Kepulauan Riau's Farmers Term of Trade in February 2020

Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) against the price index paid by farmers (Ib). NTP is one indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchange power (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs. In February 2020, Kepulauan Riau Province NTP was recorded at 101.27 or decreased by 0.10 percent compared to the January 2020 FTT. The NTP of the Food Crop subsector was recorded at 100.71; Horticulture subsector NTP of 107.26; NTP of the People's Plantation Plant subsector of 96.21; Livestock subsector NTP 98.05 and Fishery subsector NTP 102.47.

The Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of Kepulauan Riau Province in February 2020 was 102.59, an increase of 0.20 percent compared to the previous month. NTUP of the Food Crop subsector was recorded at 101.24; NTUP Horticulture subsector by 109.16; NTUP of the People's Plantation Plant subsector of 97.58; NTUP Livestock sub-sector by 99.14; and NTUP Fisheries sub-sector amounting to 103.33.
