Abstract

Farmers Term of Trade (NTP) is the comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).

NTP is an indicator to see the level of ability / purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the terms of trade of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs.

In February 2021, the Kepulauan Riau Province NTP was recorded at 102.23 or decreased by 0.52 percent compared to the NTP in January 2021.

NTP of the Food Crops subsector was recorded at 103.44; Horticulture sub-sector NTP of 105.61; NTP of Community Plantation Crops subsector of 93.14; NTP of Animal Husbandry sub-sector as much as 99.59; and Fisheries sub-sector NTP of 108.27.

The Kepulauan Riau Province Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in February 2021 was recorded at 103.61, a decrease of 1.10 percent compared to the previous month.

Food Crops sub-sector NTUP was recorded at 103.75; Horticulture sub-sector NTUP 107.86; NTUP for Community Plantation Subsector, amounting to 94.71; Animal Husbandry sub-sector NTUP 100.73; and Fisheries sub-sector NTUP 109.05.
