Abstract

The number of foreign tourists visiting Kepulauan Riau Province in April 2020 reached 1,139 visits, a decrease of 97.89 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists in the previous month, where the number of foreign tourists in March 2020 was 54,102 visits. Meanwhile, when compared with April 2019, the visit of foreign tourists in April 2020 has decreased, namely by 99.50 percent.

Tourists visiting Kepulauan Riau Province from January to April 2020 were dominated by Singaporean tourists with a percentage of 46.07 percent of the total number of foreign tourists in January-April 2020.

Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of starred hotels in Kepulauan Riau Province in April 2020 reached an average of 11.37 percent or down 13.90 points compared to the March 2020 TPK of 25.57 percent.

The average length of stay of foreign guests and Indonesian guests at star hotels in Kepulauan Riau Province in April 2020 was 2.40 days, up 0.46 points compared to the average length of stay of guests in March 2020.
