Abstract

Export

The export value of Kepulauan Riau Province in March 2021 reached US $ 1,356.15 million, an increase of 12.67 percent compared to February 2021.

  • Oil and gas exports in March 2021 amounted to US $ 238.64 million, down 0.47 percent compared to February 2021. Non-oil and gas exports in March 2021 reached US $ 1,117.51 million, an increase of 15.94 percent compared to February 2021.
  • The largest 2-digit HS non-oil and gas exports during March 2021 were the machine / electrical equipment (HS 85) class of goods, reaching US $ 372.60 million with a role in non-oil and gas exports of 34.39 percent.
  • During March 2021, Singapore became the largest non-oil and gas export destination country, reaching US $ 334.31 million with a role of around 30.33 percent. Besides that, it is also the largest oil and gas export destination country, reaching US $ 203.97 million with a role of 80.66 percent.
  • The largest export value of Kepulauan Riau Province in March 2021 was through the Batu Ampar Port, US $ 536.49 million; followed by Tanjung Balai Karimun Port with US $ 288.94 million; Sekupang Port US $ 199.91 million; Tarempa Port US $ 123.21 million; and Port of Kabil / Panau US $ 91.35 million. The role of the five ports on exports in March 2021 reached 89.97 percent.

    The import value of Kepulauan Riau Province in March 2021 reached US $ 1,430.05 million, an increase of 26.77 percent compared to February 2021.

  • The value of oil and gas imports in March 2021 reached US $ 263.98 million, an increase of 42.34 percent compared to February 2021. The value of non-oil and gas imports in March 2021 reached US $ 1,166.07 million, an increase of 23.71 percent compared to February 2021.
  • During January-March 2021, the largest non-oil and gas imports were in the category of electrical machinery / equipment (HS 85) with a value of US $ 1,277.26 million or 41.94 percent of the total non-oil and gas imports.
  • During January-March 2021, China was the largest supplier of imported non-oil and gas goods, reaching US $ 793.26 million with a role of 26.05 percent. Meanwhile, the largest supplier of oil and gas imports was Singapore, with an import value of US $ 232.78 million with a role of 38.08 percent.
  • The largest port for loading and unloading imported goods during January-March 2021 was Batu Ampar Port with an import value of US $ 1,774.00 million, followed by Sekupang Port with an import value of US $ 718.23 million, with both roles reaching 68.15 percent.
