Abstract

The export value of the Kepulauan Riau Province in August 2021 reached US$1,301.98 million, an increase of 6.85 percent compared to July 2021.
Oil and gas exports in August 2021 amounted to US$322.43 million, up 5.11 percent compared to July 2021. Non-oil and gas exports in August 2021 reached US$979.55 million, up 7.43 percent compared to July 2021.
The largest 2-digit non-oil and gas exports during January-August 2021 were machinery/electrical equipment (HS 85) which reached US$2,832.95 million with a role for non-oil and gas exports of 35.46 percent.
The import value of the Kepulauan Riau Province in August 2021 reached US $ 1,077.25 million, down 2.74 percent compared to July 2021.
The value of oil and gas imports in August 2021 reached US$166.24 million, down 15.32 percent compared to July 2021. The value of non-oil and gas imports in August 2021 reached US$911.01 million, down 0.03 percent compared to July 2021.
