Exports increased 1,90 percent and imports decreased 2,28 percent in April 2021

Abstract

The export value of Kepulauan Riau Province in April 2021 reached US $ 1,380.60 million, an increase of 1.90 percent compared to March 2021.
Oil and gas exports in April 2021 amounted to US $ 240.59 million, an increase of 0.62 percent compared to March 2021. Non-oil and gas exports in April 2021 reached US $ 1,140.01 million, an increase of 2.17 percent compared to March 2021.
The largest 2-digit HS non-oil and gas exports during April 2021 were the machine / electrical equipment (HS 85) class of goods reaching US $ 368.97 million with a role in non-oil and gas exports of 33.85 percent.
During April 2021, China became the largest non-oil and gas export destination country, reaching US $ 337.11 million with a role of around 26.35 percent. Meanwhile, Singapore became the largest oil and gas export destination country, reaching US $ 213.77 million with a role of 82.67 percent.

The import value of Kepulauan Riau Province in April 2021 reached US $ 1,397.58 million, down 2.27 percent compared to March 2021.
The value of oil and gas imports in April 2021 reached US $ 251.58 million or decreased by 4.70 percent compared to March 2021. The value of non-oil and gas imports in April 2021 reached US $ 1,146.00 million or decreased by 1.72 percent compared to March 2021.
During January-April 2021, the largest non-oil and gas imports were in the category of electrical machinery / equipment (HS 85) with a value of US $ 1,775.00 million or 42.35 percent of the total non-oil and gas imports.
During January-April 2021, China was the largest supplier of imported non-oil and gas goods, reaching US $ 1,104.59 million with a role of 26.35 percent. Meanwhile, the largest supplier of imported oil and gas goods namely Singapore with an import value of US $ 376.64 million with a role of 43.65 percent.
