Abstract

  • In March 2021, the number of poor people (people with monthly per capita expenditure below the Poverty Line) in the Kepulauan Riau Province reached 144,462 people (6.12 percent), an increase of 1,850 people compared to September 2020's condition of 142,611 people (6 ,13 percent). The percentage of poor people in Kepulauan Riau in March 2021 reached 6.12 percent.
  • The percentage of poor people in urban areas in September 2020 was 5.69 percent, increasing to 5.72 percent in March 2021. While the percentage of poor people in rural areas in September 2020 was 11.25 percent, decreased to 11.10 percent in March 2021.
