Abstract

The number of foreign tourist visits or foreign tourists to the Kepulauan Riau Province during June 2021 was recorded at 271 visits. This means an increase of 2.26 percent compared to the previous month, where in May 2021 there were 265 visits. Meanwhile, when compared to June 2020, there was an increase of 179.38 percent.

During January to June 2021, the number of foreign tourist visits to the Kepulauan Riau Province was dominated by foreign tourists from Singapore which reached 195 foreign tourists visiting or around 11.85 percent.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in the Kepulauan Riau Province in June 2021 was an average of 23.03 percent, an increase of 2.11 points compared to the TPK in May 2021 which was recorded at 20.92 percent.

The average length of stay of foreign guests and Indonesian guests at five-star hotels in the Kepulauan Riau Province in June 2021 was recorded at 1.79 nights, an increase of 0.01 points compared to May 2021.
