Abstract

The number of foreign tourists (tourists) to the Kepulauan Riau Province during September 2021 was recorded at 144 visits or decreased by 12.73 percent compared to the previous month. Likewise, when compared to September 2020, there was a decrease of 72.20 percent.

Foreign tourists visiting the Kepulauan Riau Province in January-September 2021 were dominated by Singaporean nationals, reaching 11.67 percent of the total number of foreign tourists from January to September 2021.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in the Kepulauan Riau Province in September 2021 was an average of 23.97 percent, an increase of 3.93 points compared to the TPK in August 2021 which was recorded at 20.04 percent.
