Abstract

The export value of the Kepulauan Riau Province in March 2022 reached US $ 1,723.44 million, an increase of 18.23 percent compared to February 2022.

Oil and gas exports in March 2022 amounted to US$474.55 million, up 40.29 percent compared to February 2022. Non-oil and gas exports in March 2022 reached US$1,248.89 million, up 11.56 percent compared to February 2022.

The largest 2-digit HS non-oil and gas exports during January-March 2022 were machinery/electrical equipment (HS 85) which reached US$1,478.09 million with a share of non-oil and gas exports of 43.75 percent.

During January-March 2022, Singapore became the largest export destination country, reaching US$1,888.31 million with a share of 42.03 percent.

During January-March 2022, Singapore became the largest non-oil and gas export destination country, reaching US$1,165.05 million with a share of around 34.48 percent. Besides that, it is also the largest oil and gas export destination country which reached US$723.26 million with its share of 64.89 percent.

The largest export value of Kepulauan Riau Province from January to March 2022 is through Batu Ampar Port at US$2,057.33 million; followed by Sekupang Port of US$617.40 million; Tanjung Balai Karimun Port US$560.71 million; Tarempa Port US$437.00 million; and the Port of Kabil/Panau US$378.13 million. The role of the five ports in exports from January to March 2022 reached 90.15 percent.

The largest export volume of the Kepulauan Riau Province from January to March 2022 is through the Port of Tanjung Balai Karimun 2,725.87 thousand tons; followed by Tarempa Port at 861.89 thousand tons; Padang Rear Port 506.35 thousand tons; Batu Ampar Port is 346.94 thousand tons and Kabil/Panau Port is 198.24 thousand tons. The role of the five ports in the export volume from January to March 2022 reached 91.34 percent.
