Abstract

The number of foreign tourists to Kepulauan Riau Province during July 2023 was recorded at 121,100 visits or decreased by 29.37 percent compared to the previous month. Meanwhile, when compared to July 2022, there was an increase of 50.97 percent.

Foreign tourists visiting Kepulauan Riau Province in January-July 2023 were dominated by Singaporean tourists, reaching 56.13 percent of the total number of foreign tourists from January to July 2023.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star-rated hotels in Kepulauan Riau Province in July 2023 averaged 40.03 percent or decreased 12.51 points compared to the June 2023 TPK which was recorded at 52.54 percent.

The average length of stay of foreign guests and Indonesian guests at star hotels in Kepulauan Riau Province in July 2023 was recorded at 1.86 days, an increase of 0.20 points compared to June 2023.
