Abstract

The number of domestic air transportation passengers departing from Kepulauan Riau Province in August 2023 was 162,336 people, down 4.89 percent compared to July 2023. A total of 1,975 international air transportation passengers departed from Kepulauan Riau Province in August 2023.

The number of domestic sea transportation passengers who departed in August 2023 was 297,096 people, down 23.42 percent compared to July 2023 which reached 387,966 people. Meanwhile, the number of international sea transportation passengers departing in August 2023 was 215,158 people, down 11.34 percent compared to July 2023.

In August 2023, the number of domestic air transport baggage and goods loadings decreased by 17.63 percent from 2,808.84 tons in July 2023 to 2,313.73 tons in August 2023. In August 2023, 19.43 tons of baggage and freight were loaded via international air transport.
