Abstract

The number of domestic air transportation passengers departing from Riau Islands Province in February 2024 was 153,171 people, down 1.41 percent compared to January 2024. A total of 2,373 international air transportation passengers departed from Riau Islands Province in February 2024.
The number of domestic sea transportation passengers who departed in February 2024 was recorded at 338,711 people, down 0.94 percent compared to January 2024 which reached 341,914 people. Meanwhile, the number of international sea transportation passengers departing in February 2024 was 224,302 people, up 2.39 percent compared to January 2024.
In February 2024, the number of domestic air transport baggage and goods loadings decreased by 5.48 percent from 2,220.73 tons in January 2024 to 2,099.09 tons in February 2024. In February 2024, 21.68 tons of baggage and freight were loaded via international air transport.
