Abstract

The Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) in February 2024 was 6.94 percent, a decrease of 0.67 percentage points compared to February 2023.

The number of labor force based on the National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) in February 2024 was 1,078.17 thousand people. The Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK) in February 2024 was 67.14 percent, a decrease of 0.15 percentage points compared to February 2023.

The working population was 1,003.39 thousand people. The business field that absorbs the most labor is the Processing Industry, which is 21.73 percent.

A total of 333.12 thousand people (33.20 percent) worked in informal activities, an increase of 4.84 percentage points compared to February 2023.

The percentage of underemployment increased by 1.34 percentage points, while part-time workers increased by 1.92 percentage points compared to February 2023.
