Kepulauan Riau Exports in July 2020 increased 11.53 percent

The export value of Kepulauan Riau Province in July 2020 reached US $ 1,008.56 million, an increase of 11.53 percent compared to June 2020. Oil and gas exports in July 2020 amounted to US $ 187.11 million, an increase of 18.37 percent compared to June 2020. Non-oil and gas exports in July 2020 reached US $ 821.45 million or an increase of 10.09 percent compared to June 2020. The biggest 2 digit HS non-oil and gas exports during January-July 2020 were the machine/electrical equipment (HS 85) group of goods reaching US $ 2,083.12 million with a role in non-oil and gas exports of 38.36 percent. During January-July 2020, Singapore became the largest non-oil and gas export destination country, reaching US $ 1,760.04 million with a role of around 32.41 percent. Besides that, it is also the largest oil and gas export destination country, reaching US $ 1,069.30 million with a role of 83.94 percent. The largest export value of Kepulauan Riau Province from January to July 2020 was through the Batu Ampar Port, US $ 3,070.17 million; followed by Sekupang Port with US $ 990.50 million; Kabil/Panau Port US $ 725.94 million; Tarempa Port, US $ 616.60 million; and Tanjung Balai Karimun Port of US $ 575.07 million. The role of the five ports in January-July 2020 exports reached 89.16 percent.
