Abstract

The number of visits by foreign tourists or foreign tourists to the Kepulauan Riau Province during October 2020 was recorded as much as 2,157 visits. This means an increase of 7.90 percent compared to the previous month, where in September 2020 there were 1,999 visits. Meanwhile, when compared to October 2019, there was a decrease of 99.05 percent.
Foreign tourists visiting the Kepulauan Riau Province from January to October 2020 are dominated by Singaporean tourists, reaching 44.85 percent of the number of foreign tourists from January to October 2020.
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in Kepulauan Riau Province in October 2020 an average of 21.59 percent or an increase of 4.68 points compared to the ROR for September 2020 which was recorded at 16.91 percent.
The average length of stay of foreign guests and Indonesian guests at star hotels in the Kepulauan Riau Province in October 2020 was recorded at 1.49 days, down 0.26 points compared to September 2020.
