Abstract

In September 2021, the number of poor people (people with per capita expenditure per month below the Poverty Line) in Kepulauan Riau Province reached 137.75 thousand people (5.75 percent), a decrease of 6.71 thousand people compared to the conditions in March 2021 which by 144.46 thousand people (6.12 percent).
The percentage of poor people in urban areas in March 2021 was 5.72 percent, down to 5.37 percent in September 2021. In addition, the percentage of poor people in rural areas in March 2021 of 11.10 percent also decreased to 10.45 percent in September 2021.
