Development of Air and Sea Transportation in Kepulauan Riau Province October 2022

The number of domestic air transport passengers departing from Kepulauan Riau Province in October 2022 was 142,455 people, an increase of 11.26 percent compared to September 2022. A total of 1,376 international air transport passengers departed from the Riau Islands Province in October 2022.

The number of domestic sea transport passengers departing in October 2022 was recorded at 290,911 people, an increase of 8.83 percent compared to September 2022 which reached 267,306 people. Meanwhile, the number of international sea transport passengers departing in October 2022 was 224,342 people, up 14.00 percent compared to September 2022.

In October 2022, a total load of baggage and domestic air transport goods increased by 1.75 percent from 2,115.45 tons in September 2022 to 2,152.40 tons in October 2022. In October 2022, a total of 33.09 tons were loaded via air transport international.
