The CPI of Kepulauan Riau Province showed inflation of 0.24 percent

In May 2021, the CPI of the Kepulauan Riau Province (Batam City and Tanjungpinang City) showed inflation of 0.24 percent.
Inflation occurs due to an increase in the Consumer Price Index from 104.77 in April 2021 to 105.02 in May 2021

In May 2021, the NTP of the Kepulauan Riau Province was recorded at 103.57 or an increase of 0.23 percent compared to the NTP of the previous month

In April 2021, the number of air transport passengers was 216,091 people and the number of air transport passengers sea as many as 561,493 people, both coming and going.

The number of foreign tourist visits or foreign tourists to the Kepulauan Riau Province during April 2021 was recorded at 248 visits. This means that it has decreased by 42.06 percent compared to the previous month, where in March 2021 there were 428 visits. Meanwhile, when compared to April 2020, there was a decrease of 40.53 percent
