Abstract

The number of foreign tourists (foreign tourists) to Kepulauan Riau Province during December 2022 was recorded at 188,544 visits or an increase of 81.40 percent compared to the previous month. Meanwhile, when compared to December 2021, there was an increase of 34,558.82 percent.

Foreign tourists visiting Kepulauan Riau Province in January-December 2022 were dominated by foreign tourists of Singapore nationality, reaching 57.83 percent of the total number of foreign tourists from January to December 2022.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star-rated hotels in Kepulauan Riau Province in December 2022 averaged 62.53 percent, an increase of 16.86 points compared to the November 2022 TPK which was recorded at 45.67 percent.

The average length of stay of foreign guests and Indonesian guests at star hotels in Kepulauan Riau Province in December 2022 was recorded at 2.01 days, an increase of 0.01 points compared to November 2022.
