Abstract

The economy of Kepulauan Riau Province in 2024, measured based on Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP) on the basis of prevailing prices (ADHB), will reach Rp352.44 trillion and on the basis of constant prices (ADHK) will reach Rp209.94 trillion.
The economy of Kepulauan Riau Province in the fourth quarter of 2024 (y-on-y) grew by 5.14 percent. In terms of business fields, growth in this quarter was driven by the Processing Industry category which had a growth contribution of 2.73 percent. In terms of expenditure, the Net Export Component had a growth contribution of 3.30 percent and the PMTB Component with a contribution of 2.31 percent.
The economy of Kepulauan Riau Province in the fourth quarter of 2024 compared to the III2024 quarter (q-to-q) grew by 6.94 percent. In terms of production, economic growth was mainly caused by the Processing Industry category with the largest growth contribution of 3.50 percent, followed by the Construction category with a growth contribution of 2.11 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the PMTB component contributed the largest growth at 2.70 percent, followed by the PK-P component with a contribution of 2.39 percent.
The economy of Kepulauan Riau Province in 2024 will grow by 5.02 percent, growing slower than in 2023 by 5.16 percent.
In the regional scope,the GDP of Kepulauan Riau Province in the fourth quarter of 2024 contributed 7.42 percent to the Sumatra Island GDP.
